I specialize in day-of wedding planning, serving as your advocate on the day of your wedding to ensure all your plans come to life just the way you designed them. I give some guidance and input throughout the planning phase to prevent details from being overlooked, help out at the rehearsal, and manage the logistics and vendors at the wedding itself (and any last-minute glitches!) to make sure your special day is a day to savor. I do my best to ensure that all the wonderful moments of the wedding come together smoothly, so that you have a day full of "happy sigh" memories, and not a day full of stressful, last-minute decisions.
What is "Day-of" wedding planning?
Day-of wedding coordination significantly differs from full wedding planning & design. A day-of coordinator helps her clients by making their plans and design happen, as opposed to doing the planning herself. While she doesn't take the lead on designing the wedding, a day-of coordinator gives support to the couple during the planning phase, ensuring that no details get lost or forgotten, and then serves as the "go-to" person on the day of the wedding for vendors, guests, and the bridal party. The bride and groom are able to have a stress-free day because they have confidence that their day-of coordinator knows their desires and plans, will keep the day on schedule, and is capable of handling situations that might arise at the ceremony or reception.
